Dr. Göktuğ ŞAHİN's main motivation for preparing this book is to contribute to the methodical studies about natural gas economics and the sector from an economist's point of view. Natural gas is one of the most extensively benefited but also imported type of energy sources in Turkey. Besides Turkey's long-term natural gas contracts will start to expire in the coming period. Hence it is essential to examine natural gas and its economics in the context of Turkey's energy and economics security in detail with down-to-earth studies. Consequently for these reasons detailed research has been carried out in this book to provide information analysis and recommendations on Turkey about energy natural gas natural gas markets and natural gas contracts.
